Dr. Hemjith Balarkishnan,

Thank you for your comment, this concept of leadership you have read is considered basic leadership, for individual's first steps in become true Managers and Leaders. You, however, are espousing more advanced understandings of Management and Leadership results.

Again, thank you.

I really appreciate the concept of leadership as been espoused by Tres M Scott and thankful for the contribution.

However, I strongly am an ardent advocate of
" Ownership " in leadership.

The essence of true leadership with ownership will be more participative than directive and more enabling than performing. The moment the sense of ownership is infused in a relationship, the reflexes take over. You cease to think and debate. You start to feel and react. There lies in the strength of leadership.

Effective leadership is not about making speeches or being liked; leadership is defined by collective results not collective attributes.

As the famous saying goes a good leader inspires others with confidence in him; a great leader inspires them with confidence in themselves - which are all the result of ownership.
